About Michaela Kelly

Michaela Kelly discovered her passion for art at a young age. Art was always her favorite subject in school. Michaela has worked in various mediums like charcoal, watercolor, and pastels, before ultimately focusing on oil painting. She is primarily self taught, but has participated in art workshops, and an enriching art study abroad program in Italy.
Michaela paints in the Impressionist style using both brushes and palette knives. She loves to paint a variety of subjects, especially places she's travelled, which connects her work with a sense of wanderlust. Michaela frequently paints en plein air and is the committee chair for the plein air group of her local art club. She has lived in California, Hawaii, Washington state, and now resides in Vero Beach, Florida.
